Mecuris improves medical care through digitally tailored and 3D printed orthoses (splints) and prosthetic limbs (artificial limbs). Using 3D designs, we provide medical supply companies with our web-based Mecuris Solution Platform. Patient data is automatically used to identify anatomy. Our MSP is digitally adapting the shape, function and design of medical devices without the creator needing previous 3D design knowledge. Thereafter, the design is sent to and manufactured at a local 3D printing center. We enable orthopedic technology experts to step into the digital age by linking 3D technologies to an intuitive solution platform. Thus, creating a better quality of life for orthoses and prostheses wearers.
> 3D scans of the lower extremity of patients can be taken in any position of the foot. In order for this scan to be used later for the production of a digital orthosis and thus for the treatment of a variety of malpositions, the posture of the foot must be adjusted.
