We are a cross-functional team developing a UWB-based Local Positioning System (LPS) to enable our advanced player and ball tracking solutions. To capture and provide precise position and motion data in the sports environment, we are developing a full stack of software components including firmware, backend and frontend applications. Joining our team, you will optimize existing backend and frontend solutions for our low latency sensor network architecture, but also create completely new KINEXON products in collaboration with your colleagues from other software and hardware departments. 

With C++ being our main language for development we are utilizing a diverse tech stack to develop, build, and test our solutions, e.g: 

  • C++ with Qt and CMake 
  • Golang  
  • Rust  
  • Python 
  • JavaScript/TypeScript + Node.js
  • Linux OS  
  • Bash
  • Docker
  • Gitlab + Gitlab CI  

What You Will Do

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for developing services and applications across the whole range of our technology stack. We will trust you to take on technical leadership in developing new software products and designing software architectures and APIs within our LPS ecosystem. Together with the team, you will primarily face the following challenges: 

  • Real-time networking 
  • Microservice architectures 
  • Advanced algorithms
  • Parallel processing
  • Configuration and monitoring of distributed systems
  • Continuous integration + deployment
  • Full stack system testing

What we can offer you

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in object-oriented programming as well as scripting languages 
  • You have good programming skills in C++ 
  • You have been working with Linux operating systems and Linux infrastructure and tooling in the past 
  • You have a strong knowledge in software architecture and design patterns 
  • You are excited to dive into new software territory 
  • You are fluent in English or German 
  • You are a reliable team player willing to take on responsibility and move the team forward with your own solutions
