Pacifico Energy Partners GmbH (“Pacifico”) is a renewable energy company for wind and solar energy as well as battery and hydrogen technologies. We develop greenfield projects, repower existing plants, provide state-of-the-art asset management services and facilitate the acquisition of operational and turn-key plants.

Pacifico’s Structured Finance team is mainly responsible for structuring and raising external financing (equity and debt) needed for developing and constructing onshore wind and solar PV plants. In addition, our day-to-day tasks include building and maintaining financial models and supporting Pacifico’s Development team in ensuring bankability of the projects (e.g., support in running due diligence processes, structuring key project contracts etc.).

We are looking for a (Senior) Manager / Team Lead to join the Structured Finance team with the following profile:

Your key accountabilities

• Manage the full life cycle of financing transactions (debt and equity) for the firm’s acquisitions and development projects:
  • Sourcing of third-party financing from banks, development finance institutions and funds, and manage existing relationships with financing parties
  • Structuring and optimization of deal structures
  • Leading the negotiation of financings, including term sheets, legal documentation, and other related contracts, and executing complex transactions by working closely with our CFO and the rest of the team
  • Leading the preparation of transaction materials (e.g., information memoranda, financial models) and manage external legal, tax, technical, and other advisors to ensure bankability of projects
• Mentoring and contributing to the personal development of the Structured Finance team members and shaping the team’s strategy
• Representing Pacifico at industry and networking events and stay on-top of trends and key market terms

Requirements 

• Degree in relevant field (e.g., Finance, Engineering or Science) with an impeccable academic track record from a leading university
• Previous working experience of at least two years (for senior position at least five years) for a renewable energy firm (developer, IPP, infrastructure fund), financial institution (bank, debt fund) or advisor (investment bank, consultancy) – preferably with a focus on renewables/infrastructure
• End-to-end experience of supporting/leading project financing transactions
• Ability to independently run both internal and external processes
• Outstanding analytical and financial modelling skills
• Positive and energetic attitude
• Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of German and/or additional languages is a plus
• Passion for renewable energy
