JOB DETAIL

OVERVIEW

Artisense is a deep tech startup developing positioning and mapping solutions used in a wide range of applications from autonomous vehicles and robots to smart and automated data-driven services. We have a passion for autonomy and are accelerating the adoption of these novel technologies by helping our partners solve one of the major remaining problems – accurate and robust positioning – with state-of-the-art software using simple and affordable hardware. Founded in 2016, Artisense is backed by well-known Munich, Berlin and international investors. Today, we have offices in the USA, Japan and Germany through which an incredibly talented and diverse team of 20 serve customers across the globe.

The role

You want to assume responsibility for finance, strategy and business admin functions in a rapidly growing international startup? You are fascinated by technology and want to contribute to a paradigm shift in how we move through and interact with our physical world?

Then we would love to have you on board to build the finance and admin functions directly reporting to our leadership team. We offer you an opportunity to develop your full potential in an environment with super short decision-making processes and the freedom to execute. You are responsible for your own projects and topics that are prioritized together with the leadership team.

A day in your life at Artisense

Together with the leadership, the admin team in Japan as well as our external accounting and tax consultants, you ensure excellent business administration of the company.

You are a trusted contact to the team for administrative questions and support the team with efficient processing of administrative tasks: that may include contracts, HR, purchasing, payroll or a customs issue in China.

At the same time, you act as a sparring partner for the leadership team and prepare reports and information for decision-making.

Being proactive and driven by excellence, you automate recurring tasks such as monthly reporting to increasingly spend time on strategic projects that you define. Possible first projects are:

  • Definition and automation of (accounting) processes across the company

  • Introduction of internal control and governance
  • Support business planning and create revenue and profitability analysis
  • Streamline workflows and communication in investor relations and other external communication
  • Identify gaps in the organization and provide recommendations to the leadership team

Your responsibilities will change as we grow the company together and provide ample room for your own growth either in an expert position or into a senior management role. Working directly with the leadership team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to planning and building the team to meet the needs of a fast-growing company.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You have at least (2) 3 years of relevant work experience in a strategy consultancy, investment bank, corporate finance, audit firm; OR in a technology, automotive or robotics context
