OUR APPROACH

We build prototypes and MVPs to test and iterate business ideas quickly in the market. Later, we scale and grow the most promising ones to let them become leading solutions in their market. We are full stack – from analytically sound investment theses over rapid MVPs to sophisticated deep-tech solutions, we have a variety of start-up projects ahead of us in several exciting verticals, such as FinTech, PropTech, Digital Health, Food & Beverage or MarTech. Among all corporate venture builders, we are the “strategic” one – we have a comprehensive view on strategy and governance questions around corporate venture building.

You will be part of the Stryber team – a dynamic team of top-notch experts that is highly motivated to create impact. Over the last five years, we have developed a solid and comprehensive framework for corporate innovation with a very thick secret sauce that is not easy to copy.

In your role as our Associate Partner you will:

• Be responsible for building your own P&L including acquisition of corporates and taking over responsibility for the sales process
• Be the responsible person on the ground for a specific client engagement, typically comprising of multiple ventures
• Ensure the successful completion of the client engagement by guiding the Venture Architects through our venture building process (from ideation to scale up) and coordinating our world class venture operations to successfully deliver the acquired projects together with the venture operations team
• Need to be a rebel but also adhere to some corporate rules in working with corporate clients, e.g. regular pitches for funding in the board, working with CxOs of the client organization to create synergies, etc.
• Have the freedom to act and no politics

• Master’s degree with excellent grades or PhD from a top university
• You have extensive experience in a leading strategy consultancy as a Project Manager, leading and delivering projects with a team
• Experience with P&L as well as digital transformation is a plus
• You are fluent in English – another European language is a plus
• You have a solid understanding of lean startup methods and a startup mindset
• Strong analytical and creative problem solving skills
• Willingness to travel: 80%
• Full-time availability; part-time or freelance is not possible
